Set in a typical Flemish café, we experience the inevitable downfall of people and businesses. That downfall is already a done deal by the time the play begins, even though the protagonists don't know it yet. The start of the play gives no hint of this, as it seems to head toward a classic Flemish farce.

Harry Hap considers himself a hard-nosed businessman. Yet he has already survived many bankruptcies. Now he has turned to sex websites. But that isn't going well either. He employs a computer specialist and several women, and puts Eastern European porn clips, which he provides with Dutch-language texts, on the internet. Now he finds himself forced to switch to online sex with girls who, behind the webcam, fulfill the wishes of the visitors.

HISTORICAL DRAMA IN TWO ACTS FOR 7 MEN, 3 WOMEN AND EXTRAS
This is the story of one night. A night of thinking, of weighing and considering. The successful company manager Willem has been asked by the prime minister to join his government as a minister with special powers in order to rescue the country's financial situation. Willem weighs it up: give up his familiar life and place himself at the service of the community, or not? He thinks about the life, rise and fall of Jacob Van Artevelde.
His wife Cathy is ambitious enough to pursue the glamour of the ministership, without giving much thought to the dark sides, and she gladly wants to clear away any obstacles.
Daughter Greet sees her own plans in danger as her father says yes, and tries to persuade him to refuse. In the end she will give in and fall silent, after her mother has promised that it is a matter of time.
