Well, yes, Novosite offered me the chance to give my website a makeover. Have it done or do it myself: anyone who knows me knows what I chose.
You have to admit, those guys in the Netherlands know how it's done. Everything looks a lot better and more appealing. A bridge between writer and reader, without complications. I confess: now and then I did let AI do some of the work, and for the very first time in my writing career. After some intervention it did produce some fine things. Oh well, why wouldn't you make use of it, as long as you make it clear.
So if there are things that don't appeal to you: blame AI. The good parts are my own handiwork.
Joking aside, I put a lot of time into it, because I do consider a website important. Let it be a means of communication: tell me about your reading experience. You know the saying, it's never too late to learn.
The only thing I regret is that all this beauty exists only by the grace of the Trump supporters in the US, the Zuckerbergs and other oligarchs who can flip the switch with one finger and plunge us all into IT darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Europe, wake up, give us a firm foundation on which we can grow better.
